And the audience for this art and for these artists must also be fully present, here and now.
After all, the essence of art lies in communication, and if that function fails, then it all becomes meaningless.

So who, today, is the audience contemporary artists are addressing?
A handful of people representatives of what has now become a completely fragmented art community: one part has chosen the West as its audience, another has gone underground, and a third, realizing there's no income in it, has left art altogether.

…these works reflect our reality, describe the times, interpret history, find new imagery, generalize the situation, reveal contexts, and anticipate the future!
This country needs a museum of contemporary art. It needs artists like these, artists who must be valued and whose talent must be treated with care.
